...start of the day....

What a wonderful morning. Zoe and Addy will be attending Toboso this fall before moving to the new elementary. These are two of their teachers in the fall. Jamie on the left carried on two huge responsibilities at Toboso after I retired. She trained students as guides and administered the tour guide program where Toboso students lead visiting students through Black Hand Gorge Nature Preserve. She also continued organizing and conducting trips to Washington DC for her students and their parents. Erin on the right was one of those guides as a Toboso student, has been teaching at the Middle School and will be moving up to elementary in the fall. I'm meeting with them to assist them in teaching concepts in the state Social Studies and Science Curriculum at the Gorge. In other words in the fall I'll be back in the classroom (BHG) with kids (Including my Grandkids). HOW COOL IS THAT!
