Last Christmas our kids went together to buy us a gift certificate for Murphin Ridge. Wes and Lenore Humble told us about the place and we love it. It's the chance to just unwind and spend time together. We've each had a couple of hectic weeks and we welcomed the chance to be together. We also are leading a marriage retreat in Michigan this coming weekend and we needed the time away to prepare........
......a fireplace....a jacuzzi......and a good book laying on the table when we walked in......and guess what book it was............

We met the folks at Murphin Ridge last spring when we were staying there during the Amish Birding Symposium in West Union. They liked their copy of LFE so much that they immediately ordered one for each room at the inn and several for the store.
Such a lovely place, fab food, and great hosts. Glad you two got to experience it!
Ahh. that looks cozy and inviting. A little chill in the air to boot. You picked a good day to be in the woods. Well...heck, I think everyday is a good day to be in the woods :)
