Case in point...this Rhododendron iutside our kitchen window. In a few months it will be bursting with bloom even though it has been enduring adversity..

Oh, yes, indeed...a great lesson indeed. Interesting to know the preservative qualities of ice as well; it tends to 'keep' things until time for use.
