Long Rewarding Hike
Halfway through the auto tour we had a decision to make... Do we conquer Pat's arthritic pain and hike to Grotto Falls or pass it up? We know we can't hike like we used to but we have this sense that some of these experiences will be a part of the past and not the future! We sucked it up and made the 1.2 mile trek up the side of the mountain to be rewarded with a beautiful scene like this.

My mind set for any travels we do, to quote Seals and Krofts (sp?)
"We may never pass this way again..." I have done some things that I would never dreamed I'd conquer. Hike on !
