Hanover Red, White and Kaboom Celebration

It just doesn't get any bigger than this in downtown Hanover......

The Weaver parade unit.....

....and of course a celebration of the Licking Valley's ancient past....

They make such beautiful Indians. It brings back memories of all of us being in the Black Hand Gorge parades. I always looked forward to dressing up and parading our costumes.

This is too funny - small town American living at its best! Love the pic in the golf cart!

Happy fourth!

AAhhh those Indian outfits...
I'll have to admit they look so much better on Zoe and Addy. Very cute!
Love and miss a little Americana, down-home- parade, and firework fun!
But, alas, living in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower
is but a small price to pay...
Next year you should all ride your bikes in the parade and convince the likes of the people driving that giant truck behind you to do the same!!!
...and Wes, I do not envy the dunk tank.
It's funny how, growing up, people always thought it was me that most resembled our father...;-)
