Did I Mention the Food?

Here are the girls picking up fresh produce from the Farmer's Market a few blocks away from Sam and Mel's apartment. The market is open 3 days a week and attracts a lot of people from a VERY wide variety of nationalities. We have enjoyed a lot of meals of foods we have never had before; lamb, fish eggs, celery root, blood sausage, and so many cheeses you cant count them all. Posted by Picasa

I thought that had to be Melanie's Mere in the picture a few days ago. I know that Bev isn't there so this is Elizabeth. I guess we all know how that look alike stuff goes :)
It is wonderful that you are able to spend time with Melanie's family too.
Safe travels today as you head to Liverpool. Give Val a hug from us too.
Love to all, B&C

Bill - these are amazing photos and I love being "on this journey" with you, in spirit. I hope you don't mind but I'm sending your blog link to my sister, who studied French in high school (and that's the extent of her association with the country!) Anyway, it's about time you got to the good stuff - the food!!!!
So, I know you want me to update my blog, but remember that non-digital camera thing - they're still stuck inside. I'll probably finish a roll this weekend and get some posted soon. If you'd care to donate to the digital camera fund, you have my address ... :-)
