Visit To A Cenote...

A cenote is a large underground grotto created in the limestone and shrouded in vegetation.... While on our way home we stopped and I got to "take a dip." Those are vine roots hanging hundreds of feet from the top.

To get to the bottom of the big hole I had to descend about 300'......

...........dive in...... (because of the low light level you thankfully only see me as a blur!).........

.........and there I am in a 150' deep lush jungle Cenote.......

Bad?? Day in Paradise....

As we awoke this morning it was pouring rain. I used the time to catch up on some work and reading. But even that's not so bad when you have this kind of setting to do it in!

..........and as I worked I watched this ancored yaught right off of our beach. It has a side hatch door that drops down and jet skis and little motorized boats come out from inside!

A Wonderful Evening....

We returned to the sight of Salle's wedding reception to enjoy an evening meal. We ate under the same Banyon tree we did 5 years ago. This time, however, we were served by a very interesting young man, Arturo.

Besides being very good at fixing flaming dishes which were delicious......

.............he also provided some very interesting personal insights about himself, his background, his plans and aspirations, the culture and religion. He gave us a very interesting answer to the question, "What do you think a real Christian should live like?" Although not one himself he said, " they think much more of others than they think of themselves....they serve much like Jesus did." We exchanged emails and will be staying in touch as he endeavors to go to college in 10 days. Good luck, Arturo....May the Force be with you!

.............and we finished off another wonderful day with a flaming dessert!

Working Out......

Not a bad view while working out........of the ocean I mean........

Here I am using the eliptical for ONE HOUR while watching the beautiful view and the Colts/Chargers game...... Maybe Constance, my trainer, will accept this for points if she sees me working this hard for this long!

It's making a big difference.....I've already dropped three shirt sizes. Here is the before and after.......
