Today Ian Cuevas and I went to the Shoe for the Buckeye game...

We went through the main part of campus to get to the stadium viewing Mirror Lake on our way......

Unless you've ever been there when the percussion section of the band comes out of the closed end of the stadium you can't imagine the feeling you get as they march out on to the field. IT'S ELECTRIC!

.....and then the Drum Major from our nearby Lakewood High School "does his thing" ............

........and they then electrify the crowd with the greatest tradition of college football.....Script Ohio. Thanks Cheryl for thinking of me when tickets became available!

Alyssa Helps Grandma Hang Out the Clothes..

Since Alyssa is here two days a week she enjoys helping Grandma with chores. Here she learns the fine art of drying clothes in the summer sun..... first it's essential you have the CORRECT clothes pin......not just ANY clothes pin will do......

....then you have to learn how to SQUEEZE a clothes pin...........as Alyssa puts it, "It too hard, Granma!" .........

.....then there is the problem of having to squeeze that clothes pin AND hold the clothes up too..........

..........finally.....with a little help she got the job done.......and decided one wash rag was enough for the day!!!

The Importance of Family

Before Chelsey flew back to 29 Palms California the Wes, Cheryl, Chelsey, Zoe and Addy branch had a brunch on the porch this morning. We ended with a group hug which as I looked down I thought made for a unique family photo........... What do you think??
