Birthday Surprise

Seth and Heather surprised us with a 65th birthday party. Chocolate ice cream cake was delicious.

This Morning's Birding Adventure

I got up and out early this morning to get to a Central Ohio birding trail. It paid off in some rare beauty. I was able to get within 10 feet of along the lake.

I loved seeing this Egret having it's feathers blow in the breeze!

Bald Eagle Bonanza!

I saw 17 Sand Hill Cranes among these Brhama cattle.

...and the highlight of the morning was seeing 9 Bald Eagles!

Here one casing away a buzzard.
